7 Pattern Types

From classic honeycomb to organic gyroid surfaces. Each pattern supports dynamic gradients, kerf compensation, and round or rectangular panels.

Isometric Cubes

3D cube illusion from three rhombuses per hex cell

Honeycomb

Classic hexagonal grid with uniform or gradient bridges

Parquet

Alternating horizontal and vertical rectangular slots

Hearts

Configurable heart shapes with orientation and size gradient

Stars

4 to 8-pointed stars with adjustable ray length

Cube Slats

Parallelogram slot cutouts within isometric cube faces

Gyroid

Organic minimal surface pattern with flowing curves

Features

Everything you need to go from design to laser cutter in seconds.

Dynamic Gradients

Center-thick, edge-thick, radial, and directional gradients. Control bridge width or element size across the panel.

Kerf Compensation

Built-in kerf offset ensures your cut pieces match the exact dimensions. Adjustable from 0 to 1mm.

Round & Rectangular Panels

Switch between rectangular panels with corner radius and circular panels with custom diameter.

Clean Edge Snapping

Automatically removes pattern elements that extend beyond the panel border for a clean finished edge.

Dual SVG Export

Download a visual preview SVG or a laser-ready cutting SVG with red stroke paths and panel outline.

Zero Install

Runs entirely in your browser. No accounts, no downloads, no server processing. Your designs stay private.

How to Use

Three steps from idea to laser-ready file.

1

Choose Pattern

Pick a pattern type and set panel dimensions (width, height, or diameter for round panels).

2

Adjust Parameters

Fine-tune cell size, bridge width, gradient direction, kerf compensation, and pattern-specific controls.

3

Export SVG

Download a cutting SVG for your laser cutter or a preview SVG to share your design.

FAQ

Common questions about lattice panels and this tool.

What is a lattice panel?
A lattice panel is a flat sheet (MDF, plywood, acrylic) with repeating geometric cutouts. It is used for decorative screens, room dividers, ventilation covers, radiator grilles, and furniture accents.
What materials can I cut?
Any material your laser cutter supports: MDF, plywood, acrylic, cardboard, leather, and thin metals. Adjust bridge width and kerf to match your material thickness and laser settings.
What kerf value should I use?
Typical kerf for a CO2 laser on 3mm MDF is 0.15 - 0.25 mm. For acrylic it is 0.1 - 0.2 mm. Run a test cut with a small square to measure your actual kerf.
Can I use generated patterns commercially?
Yes. All generated SVG files are yours to use freely for personal and commercial projects without attribution.
What file format does my laser cutter need?
Most laser cutters accept SVG files directly. The cutting SVG uses red stroke paths at 0.1mm width, which is the standard convention for laser cutting software like LightBurn, RDWorks, and LaserGRBL.
